Job Description

A Site Engineer is a crucial role in the successful implementation and completion of construction projects. This role is highly technical with a strong focus on managing construction projects to ensure that they meet the required quality standards, are completed within the set time frame, and do not exceed the allocated budget.

Job Purpose

The main purpose of the Site Engineer is to oversee and manage construction projects, coordinate with various stakeholders such as contractors and architects, and ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget, and maintain the required quality standards. The role requires a robust working knowledge of construction processes, ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, use construction software and tools proficiently and manage project effectively.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing construction projects from inception to completion
  • Managing all aspects of construction projects, including time, cost, and quality
  • Ensuring projects are completed within the set timeframe and do not exceed the allocated budget
  • Maintain quality standards across all stages of the project
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders such as contractors and architects
  • Implementing project plans effectively
  • Addressing any issues or delays promptly and adjusting the project timeline accordingly
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
