Position Purpose
This person assists Patient Relations by managing the complaint and grievance line for Saint Francis Hospital and provides administrative data entry and distribution support for regulatory data capture
What you will do
Contribute to overall quality of care by treating all patients with respect and dignity
Prioritize, plan, organize, and manage complaint line
Document in the patient relations module the complaints and grievances received
Notify managers of the complaint or grievance timely to begin investigation and resolution process
Initiate grievance initial letter acknowledging receipt to sender or caller to meet CMS regulations for timeliness
Provide administrative and clerical support to Quality, Patient Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Patient Relations
Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree and/or equivalent experience with data support and patient relations preferred
Three (3) years’ experience providing superior administrative support and interpersonal interactions with staff and patients
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written and implementation of these skills in telephone and interpersonal conversations
