Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician at our Walgreens fulfillment center, you will maintain facilities and equipment to maximize operations performance. In this dynamic role, you will be the backbone of our automated prescription processing systems, ensuring that life-saving medications reach patients with precision and efficiency. You will work with high-tech conveyance systems and other state-of-the-art material handling equipment. You will focus on the reliability of equipment, preventative maintenance, and facility maintenance/improvements. This position is located in our climate-controlled, closed-door pharmacy facility featuring modern amenities.
Flexibility to work both first and second shifts, including weekends and holidays, would be expected in this position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material handling and other Fulfillment Center (FC) equipment.
- Uses structured preventive maintenance systems to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices.
- Maintains efficient operation of material handling equipment by clearing jams and removing foreign materials.
- Performs general building maintenance as directed, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, repair of overhead doors and plumbing
