Job Description
What you will be doing
- Assist with daily Front Desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are clean, inspected, and ready for arrival.
- Learn and utilize the property's Property Management System (PMS) and other hotel software.
- Assist with guest satisfaction initiatives and service recovery efforts.
- Support the Rooms Division team with administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects.
- Observe and participate in revenue optimization and occupancy management strategies.
- Support communication between Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other hotel departments.
- Learn hotel policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Complete assigned projects designed to provide exposure to hotel management and leadership responsibilities.
- Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens according to hotel standards.
- Support House Aide duties by delivering guest amenities, replenishing housekeeping supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of public areas.
- Assist with maintaining organization and cleanliness of housekeeping storage areas, linen rooms, and back-of-house spaces.
- Support luggage assistance and guest requests throughout the property.
- Help prepare guest rooms for arrivals by ensuring required amenities and supplies are properly stocked.
- Assist with pool, courtyard, and public area inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Support inventory counts and supply management for Rooms Division departments.
- Perform various operational duties as assigned to gain exposure to all aspects of hotel operations.
