Job Description
We’re looking for an Indirect Tax Specialist who is genuinely interested in international indirect tax and excited support structure in an area that requires accuracy, consistency, and thoughtful coordination across jurisdictions.
This is not a narrow “file and forget” tax role. You’ll be working across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating filings, making sure nothing slips through the cracks, and helping us build a system that actually scales as we grow.
You do not need to know every tax regime in the world, but you should be someone who can navigate cross-border indirect tax matters and updates with confidence and ensure that the end result is accurate, timely, and well documented.
Role Responsibilities
Global Tax Compliance
Support indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including VAT, GST, OSS, and similar regimes
Coordinate tax filings, registrations, and submissions across regions
Review outputs prepared internally or by external advisors to ensure accuracy and completeness
Ensure all tax obligations are met in a timely and structured manner
Regulatory Monitoring and Implementation
Track changes in indirect tax regulations across jurisdictions
Assess impact of regulatory updates and support implementation of compliant processes
Maintain clear documentation of requirements and internal practices
Process Development and Optimization
Contribute to building scalable workflows for indirect tax management
Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes and propose improvements
Support standardization of tax-related procedures across jurisdictions
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams to ensure accurate reporting
Coordinate with external advisors where required
Ensure alignment of tax processes with broader financial and operational workflows
Required Qualifications
Experience with indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, or similar regimes
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work with data, spreadsheets, and structured documentation
Ability to navigate cross-border tax requirements and regulatory environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to operate in a multi-jurisdictional and fast-changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with indirect tax filings for digital goods or digital services
Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
Familiarity with SQL or Python for data analysis
