Priory Lakeside View is looking to recruit a Bank Driver/ Maintenance Technician to join the team. This is a dual role of the Acute service line. The role is site-based, generally Monday to Friday. Home base Lakeside View with scope to support other services locally.
Priory Lakeside View in Willenhall, West Midlands, supports 21 adults with acute mental health needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. From the point of admission into our acute services, we aim to support people to safely discharge back into the community, where they can continue to progress towards recovery in a less restrictive environment.

What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Drives patients, children, young people/adults to a variety of different activities,
- ensuring that the journey is completed in a safe and timely manner, using the most
- efficient route. Complies at all times with Priory Driving Policy.
- Drives staff and other visitors to/from the unit as required by the line manager. Collects
- and delivers consumables or assets for the unit.
- Maintains a well-decorated, safe and comfortable environment throughout the site, in line with quality standards, and follows work processes which comply with statutory regulations.
- Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all site areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will possess basic numeracy and literacy skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks. They will be capable of working with minimal supervision while demonstrating a strong customer-focused attitude and a commitment to teamwork. A full UK driving licence is essential. Experience within a driving-based role is required, and knowledge or experience in a building, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical discipline would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be reliable, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a practical, service-oriented environment.
