Executive leadership role accountable for end-to-end internal GF IP portfolio and program management - driving scoping/sizing, resource strategy, SoW execution, lifecycle management, release, customer support, and FuSa compliance—while building and leading a high-performing global organization to deliver high-quality GF IP with strong customer impact and operational excellence.

Summary of role

Executive leadership role to own GlobalFoundries’ IP portfolio and lead internal end-to-end IP program delivery—driving execution, quality, and customer impact at scale. Own GF IP lifecycle while building and leading a high-performing global team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Own and lead GF’s end-to-end IP portfolio across BUs, aligned to technology roadmaps and customer programs
  • Lead end-to-end IP program execution—scope, SoW delivery, resource strategy, cross-functional alignment, and risk management
  • Drive full IP lifecycle delivery (development → release → sustainment → EOL), including governance and legacy IP strategy
  • Ensure high-quality, compliant delivery (ISO/QMS, FuSa) and provide L2 customer support, including driving issue resolution and continuous improvement
  • Build and lead a high-performing global team to deliver scalable execution, operational excellence, and strong customer impact

Other Responsibilities

  • Strengthen IP release workflows, version control, and governance to ensure business continuity
  • Drive cross-BU prioritization and operational rigor to optimize portfolio delivery
  • Embed customer feedback into IP design assurance and quality improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics or a related field with 15+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor technology development, design enablement, program management
  • Proven experience in complex program execution and structured problem solving
  • Strong track record in leading cross-functional, global teams and delivering at scale
  • Deep understanding of IP lifecycle, QMS processes, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO standards)
  • Experience in customer engagement, issue resolution, and driving high-quality outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IP development, or design enablement environments
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
  • Track record of driving operational excellence, process transformation, and continuous improvement
  • Strong stakeholder management across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams

    Expected Salary Range

    $166,500.00 - $290,000.00

    The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
