Job Description

The Company

Meet the team:

Dexcom is seeking a compliance leader to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across the EMEA region. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Compliance, this role will lead regional compliance activities and partner closely with country leadership, commercial teams, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and HR to uphold Dexcom’s ethical standards and diverse regulatory obligations.

This role operates in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment requiring strong understanding of country-level healthcare compliance requirements, industry codes, and transparency reporting frameworks across EMEA. The ideal candidate combines deep subject matter expertise with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate cultural and regulatory differences across markets.

Where you come in:

  • You will lead the execution and continuous enhancement of the Corporate Compliance Program across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global standards while adapting to local regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • You will be tasked with the disciplinary leadership of the EMEA compliance team
  • You are a subject matter expert on country-specific healthcare compliance requirements across EMEA, including local laws governing HCP interactions, consulting arrangements, sponsorships, donations, and product education activities.
  • You serve as a trusted advisor and act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing pragmatic, risk-based guidance on commercial and operational initiatives.  You will advise on key compliance areas, engagement models and market access strategies.
  • You will lead oversight of transparency reporting obligations across EMEA, including MedTech Europe requirements, and country-specific “sunshine laws” (e.g., France, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Nordics), ensuring accurate data capture, validation, and timely submissions.
  • You conduct regional and country-level risk assessments, accounting for variations in legal requirements, enforcement trends, and business models across EMEA markets.  You will identify, prioritize, and mitigate key risks and partner with stakeholders to design and implement practical, scalable controls and mitigation strategies.
  • You manage compliance risks relating to distributors, agents, and third parties in the region, including due diligence, monitoring, and remediation.
  • You develop and deliver targeted compliance training tailored to business needs and risk areas.
  • You manage internal compliance investigations for the region and ensure appropriate documentation, remediation, and escalation consistent with company policy.

What makes you successful:

  • You bring 8-10 years of experience in healthcare compliance, legal, or related function within the medical device or pharmaceutical industries; healthcare compliance certification (CHC, CCEP) strongly preferred.
  • You ideally have people leadership experience
  • You have a deep working knowledge of EMEA healthcare compliance frameworks, including MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice, UK ABPI Code, and country-specific healthcare regulations and transparency requirements.
  • You have strong understanding of anti-bribery anti-corruption laws (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, local EMEA countries) and global expectations as applied in EMEA markets.
  • You are experienced in supporting compliance programs across multiple EMEA countries, including navigating differing legal systems, languages, and cultural expectations.
  • You bring experience of acting as a trusted advisor to sales, marketing, commercial operations, medical affairs, and other cross-functional leaders.
  • You are committed to teamwork and maintaining strong relationships and lines of communication with business partners and other key stakeholders across the organization.
  • You have excellent decision-making skills, practical business judgement, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

What you’ll get:

  • A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.
  • A full and comprehensive benefits program.
  • Growth opportunities on a global scale.
  • Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.
  • An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organization committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.
