At IPEX, we are looking for a collaborative and results-oriented Production Manager to lead our Bermondsey site manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while developing engaged teams, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the long-term success of the plant.

Your Impact
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead Production Supervisors and production teams, work closely with Quality, Maintenance, HSE, Supply Chain, and HR partners, and play a key role in optimizing productivity, improving safety performance, and developing future leaders within the organization. What You’ll Do
1. Lead Manufacturing Operations
Provide leadership for daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
Optimize production schedules, staffing, inventory, and resources to meet customer demand
Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions when necessary
2. Develop and Lead High-Performing Teams
Coach, mentor, and develop Production Supervisors and team members
Drive employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and workforce development
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
3. Drive Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement
Champion a strong safety culture and support the company's goal of zero workplace injuries
Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost performance
Ensure compliance with HSE, ISO, and operational standards
What You’ll Bring
Required:
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, production, or process-driven environment.
Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and positively influence teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in manufacturing operations management and production planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Knowledge of quality management systems and experience working within ISO-compliant manufacturing environments.
Experience leading Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs and promoting a strong safety culture within a manufacturing setting.
Ability to analyze production data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and use insights to drive operational decision-making and performance improvements.
Preferred:
Experience in plastics manufacturing, including extrusion, injection molding, and blending processes.
Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), such as Hydra MES.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis and reporting tools.
Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

The compensation for this role is between $93,000 - $116,300 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
