Job Description

Main Tasks

  • Provide engineering support and drive continuous improvement for both products and manufacturing processes
  • Design, develop, and improve air filtration products and filter systems
  • Serve as a primary resource for 2D and 3D CAD modeling
  • Identify, design, and implement manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and automation solutions
  • Troubleshoot product and production issues; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product performance, manufacturability, and quality
  • Assist in failure analysis, product changes, and implementation of engineering updates
  • Develop and maintain product and manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and technical data
  • Analyze and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and manufacturing routings within ERP systems
  • Ensure alignment of design for manufacturability (DFM), cost, and risk considerations
  • Support test methods, validation, and inspection criteria for products
  • Research industry trends and competitive products to support next-generation development
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Train and mentor team members as needed
  • Support and troubleshoot non-woven textile machinery and filtration media processing, including optimization of material performance and manufacturability
  • Support SAP system launch activities, including data validation, BOM setup, and cross-functional coordination
  • Provide ongoing SAP support for engineering, including maintenance and accuracy of BOMs, routings, and related master data
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Textile, or Industrial preferred)
  • 1–3 years of engineering experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar CAD tools)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with product design, assemblies, and manufacturing methods
  • Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel 10–20%

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in non-woven manufacturing processes, materials, or filtration media development
  • Experience working with SAP, particularly in support of engineering data, BOM management, and ERP system implementations
