We are looking for a Brand Marketing Manager who is inspired by our heritage, driven to deliver results the right way, and energized by bold thinking. In this role, you will lead and execute key elements of Roots’ global marketing strategy, bringing integrated campaigns to life across channels and markets. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our brand shows up—ensuring every customer touchpoint is consistent, creative, and deeply connected to who we are.
Key Responsibilities → How You’ll Make an Impact
LEAD CAMPAIGN GO-TO-MARKET
Drive end-to-end campaign execution, developing detailed workbacks, timelines, and deliverables
Partner cross-functionally to ensure cohesive, on-brand campaign presentation across all channels
Act as the primary liaison across teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout execution
Review and approve campaign assets to ensure consistency and brand integrity
Lead executional relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies
Maintain and optimize the marketing calendar, improving processes, timelines, and approvals
Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration across teams
CONTRIBUTE TO CAMPAIGN & BRAND STRATEGY
Collaborate with the Director of Brand Marketing to develop insight-driven, compelling marketing briefs
Ensure strategies are grounded in data to drive performance, relevance, and continuous improvement
Support evolution of brand positioning, guidelines, and consumer segmentation using research and insights
Lead the brand’s presence in key cultural moments in partnership with PR, ensuring relevance and resonance
Develop “retailtainment” strategies to elevate in-store experiences and drive engagement and conversion
Own strategy and execution for key sale moments, including creative development and campaign rollout
Monitor brand and competitor performance to identify opportunities, risks, and optimizations
BUSINESS SUPPORT & STORYTELLING
Contribute to post-campaign analyses, capturing insights and learnings for future growth
Support development of presentations, decks, and tools that communicate brand strategy and performance
Assist with administrative and operational tasks to support team effectiveness
Qualifications & Experience → The Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in brand or campaign marketing (in-house or agency)
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills, with experience across brand strategy, campaign development, and execution
Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
Experience leveraging consumer and sales data to inform strategy and decision-making
Deep understanding of consumer behavior, segmentation, and targeted marketing approaches
Passion for fashion, retail, and the outdoors is a strong asset
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners
Demonstrated leadership capability with a passion for developing and inspiring others
Balanced analytical and creative thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
