As part of our payroll team, you'll be at the heart of keeping things running smoothly, handling payroll functions, assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Position Responsibilities:
Process, balance and distribute payrolls for assigned divisions
- Prepare, verify, and process journal entries and related General Ledger account reconciliations
- Prepare any required vouchers or wires
- Record taxable fringe benefits, process adjustment payrolls, and balance W-2's
Serve as back-up for other payroll department team members when required
Position Requirements:
Knowledge of accounting principles, record keeping and filing systems
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with ADP Vantage payroll system preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
- Ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle information in a confidential manner required
- Must be professional and possess excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently as well as a team environment
