Summary:

The Laboratory Tech Assistant is primarily responsible for phlebotomy procedures including venipunctures, capillary blood sampling, and bleeding time tests. Other required tasks included requisitioning send out test, accessioning in-house patient testing, filing, and other clerical duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in phlebotomy

• Minimum of four weeks on-the-job training in phlebotomy, or previous phlebotomy experience
