CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our healthcare team in Akron, OH. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and support the implementation of clinical policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to registered nurses and other clinical personnel.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
- Address and resolve patient and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to nursing activities and patient care.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Nursing Degree with two years clinical experience, current Ohio RN license, supervisory experience and skills, experience with substance abuse/chemically dependent patients. Demonstrates the ability to suggest or recommend persons for hire, fire, advancement, promotion or other changes in status.
