What you´ll do Prepare and test adhesive formulations in accordance with established guidelines, working independently or in collaboration with chemists, scientists and technical staff. Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS) related to sample preparation, formulating adhesives and sample testing. Employ basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates. Accurately document test data in laboratory information systems. Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcomes. Utilize various computer systems to perform work and write internal and external final test reports. Use a variety of curing and dispensing equipment. Maintain calibration of laboratory instruments regularly to ensure reliability Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment and support safe work practices, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc. Performs additional duties as assigned.
