Gastroenterologist - Private Practice

Private Practice in Forest Hills, NY, is looking for a Gastroenterologist to join their team full-time. 

Compensation: $350k-$400k salary PLUS production bonus.

Schedule: 4.5 days per week (half-day on Sunday). Typical day is 9-5 when doing consults and 7-4 when doing procedures (half day procedures and half day consults); Sundays are always half days (7-1 if doing procedures, 9-1 when doing consults). There is a 1 hour lunch break from 1-2 everyday during which no patients are scheduled.

On-Call Requirements: There is no hospital call. The only call is for the practice to answer phone calls after hours, which are few and far between.

Patient Volume:  About 8-12 consults/follow-ups per day and up to 10 procedures per scoping session.

Practice Setting: Outpatient. Adult-only.

EMR: MD Land for patient consults and follow-ups; MDReports for procedures.

Support Staff: Front desk secretaries, MAs, NPs, PAs, prior authorization support for procedures/medications/imaging studies.

Equipment: Office-based endoscopy with anesthesia and laboratory services on-premises. Olympus 190 scopes and equipment.
