Job Description
Please note: this is a temporary role scheduled to last through approximately March 2027. It Is primarily remote, but requires approximately one day per month on site (Parnassus campus; there may be flexibility) as needed. 40 hours per week, M-F.
Programmatic Support – Center for Advancing Scholarship in Education (CASE)
- Coordinate logistics for a range of CASE programs, including Teaching Scholars, Visiting Scholars, Grand Rounds, ESCape, Journal Club, CASE Scholars, OME Seed Grants, the Pat O’Sullivan Award, Education Showcase, and Scholarly Writing Workshop.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, faculty, and presenters.
- Manage program schedules, enrollment, learning platforms, and preparation of materials.
- Coordinate registrations, room reservations, catering, travel, honoraria, and audiovisual needs.
- Provide weekly day-of support for virtual sessions and onsite support approximately one day per month.
- Maintain program documentation, rosters, and records.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Maintain databases and tracking systems to support program operations.
- Prepare reports and summary documents.
- Update and manage the weekly newsletter.
Programmatic Support – Center for Faculty Educators (CFE) Faculty Development
- Coordinate room and catering reservations for onsite faculty development sessions.
- Provide onsite support for certificate days and other in-person faculty development events across UCSF campus locations.
- In collaboration with the faculty development primary coordinator, update and maintain online program materials.
- Schedule and track facilitators for live sessions and activities.
- Serve as a backup point of contact for program participants.
- Compile evaluation data and prepare correspondence for facilitators.

- Thorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements
- Solid knowledge of health professions education program requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the health professions education industry
- Thorough knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and systems
- Thorough understanding of administrative and operational implications within a program
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills, including active listening and critical thinking
