About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and customer-focused Rentals Account Manager to join our Port Melbourne team.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is responsible for driving growth within the short-term rental market by sourcing new business opportunities, managing customer accounts, and delivering tailored communications and two-way radio solutions to clients across Victoria.
This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong client relationships, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and grow the two-way radio and telecommunications rental business across Victoria
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within targeted industries and markets
- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders across multiple levels of client organisations
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored rental solutions and service offerings
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations aligned with customer expectations
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to successful close
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business through proactive follow-up and account management
- Collaborate closely with operational, administrative, and technical teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes
- Support resolution of customer issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Previous experience in a sales or account management role
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- A proactive and results-driven approach
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience within telecommunications, two-way radio, rentals, or managed services environments will be highly regarded
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
