Segment Regional Customer Chief Engineer - COEM(Wuhu)
Job Description
leadership:
▪ Direct product quotation teams in preparation and presentation of all quoted solutions to responsible customers.
▪ Provide direction to product development teams to ensure customer expectations.
▪ Provide leadership for customer technical escalation and management touch point meetings.
Communication:
▪ Develop and communicate customer based product, technology and platform strategies to the PDC organization.
▪ Work closely with customer center heads to develop technology strategies that align with sales strategies for assigned OEMs.
▪ Initiate regular meetings/discussions w / engineering management @ Customers; present latest technologies/solutions.
▪ Manage crises and taskforces professionally and communicate effectively.
Strategy:
▪ Define R&D strategy for assigned OEMs (generic, dedicated technologies / roadmaps and skills needed).
▪ Align R&D strategy and needs to satisfy future OEM project requirements with PDCs.
▪ Develop R&D vision for assigned customer project development regarding.
▪Interface to all Product Managers within BA UX to support the active portfolio management process and the definition of product roadmaps.
- Education / Certification: Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering.
- Professional Experience: Engineering management experience in automotive ; Project or sub-project management experience; Engineering design/development experience in automotive.
- Project and/or Process Experience: PLC understanding; BA UX PDMK/EMK/SMK understanding.
- Leadership Experience: 5 years of experience in managing engineering organization/team;
- Intercultural Experience: Experience working in international / cross cultural teams.
