General Maintenance Technician | Second Shift Supervisor

Overview:  To ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment.   Essential Functions:       Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.    Oversee 2nd Shift Engineers ensuring guest calls, daily rounds, and projects are prioritized and completed.    Point of contact between 2nd shift engineers and the engineering management team.    Receive direction for house calls via phone or radio.    Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.    Clean all work areas after completing job.    Fill out Daily Work form.    Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.    Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.    Maintain all mechanicals property wide.          Knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering dept.        Maintain property pools as directed by CPO.                  Working Environment:     Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions. Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.   Qualifications:   Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
