Job Description
- Administer, monitor and troubleshoot IP networks
- Administer the structural cabling system
- Performing changes in physical and logical network configuration, installing and removing devices, cabling connections etc.
- Provide 2nd line support to clisent's system and network users
- Create and update the technical documentation and operating procedures
- Advice possible network improvements, changes or upgrades to the network infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of IT relevant professional experience
- Minimum English language skills (CEFR): B2
- Minimum 5 years of experience at similar position
Required certificates
At least following certification is required:
- Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent from other network vendors or an equivalent alternative certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
Knowledge
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and IP routing
- Very good understanding of Ethernet switching protocols
- Good knowledge of network services like DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.
- Good understanding of the wired and wireless access technologies (wifi, 802.1x/EAP etc.)
- Good understanding of the application-layer authentication and encryption mechanisms, e.g. HTTPS/SSL/TLS protocols, PKI and X.509 certificates
- Hands-on experience with the products and solutions related to the domain (e.g. Cisco routers and switches, wireless controllers, network firewalls etc.)
- Hands-on experience in administering of a large enterprise network
- Good knowledge of the network configuration of the endpoint operating systems (Windows, Linux, IOS etc.)
- Work experience with stateful and stateless traffic filtering

Specific requirements
- Experience in configuration and troubleshooting network-level encryption (e.g. IPsec, IKE, DMVPN)
- Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of the Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and Panorama management system
- Hands-on experience in configuration and operation of Infoblox DDI
- Hands-on experience in managing Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches
- Hands-on experience in managing Secunet SINAbox encryptors
