Position Summary
The Baltimore Ravens are seeking a highly creative and experienced Motion Graphics Designer / Animator to join our Ravens Productions team, responsible for delivering dynamic visual content across digital, broadcast, in-stadium, and social platforms.
This role is built for a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced sports environment and understands how motion design fuels fan engagement, brand storytelling, and game-day energy. You will help shape the visual identity of one of the NFL’s premier franchises while collaborating with experienced team members and elevating the overall creative standard.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute high-impact motion graphics for:
Game-day video board content (M&T Bank Stadium)
Social and Broadcast features
Marketing and sponsorship initiatives
Community and Team-driven content
Develop style frames, storyboards, and animation concepts aligned with the Ravens brand
Collaborate closely with producers, editors, designers, and leadership
Translate football storylines, player narratives, and brand campaigns into compelling visual motion
Facilitate post-production workflows, ensuring high-quality delivery under tight NFL timelines
Collaborate with our award-winning in-house production team along with outside vendors and freelancers
Maintain brand consistency across all animated assets
Contribute innovative ideas that elevate the Ravens’ visual presence league-wide
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics, animation, or sports media production
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-energy, brand-driven motion work
A mastery of Adobe After Effects including:
Advanced knowledge of animation principles, timing and visual storytelling
Compositing, motion tracking, keying and VFX
Scripting, Expressions and MOGRT knowledge
Strong typography and text animation skills
Advanced proficiency in:
Cinema 4D
Photoshop
Illustrator
Premiere Pro
Media Encoder
Deep understanding of typography, pacing, music synchronization, and visual impact
Ability to thrive under fast-paced, high-pressure deadlines (especially during season)
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Passion for sports, storytelling, and fan engagement
Organization and optimization of project files
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in professional sports, broadcast, or live event environments
Experience with Houdini for procedural animation, simulations, and advanced visual effects
Knowledge of NFL broadcast standards and delivery formats
Experience designing for LED boards, stadium environments, and large-scale displays
Experience using Ross Xpression

Salary and Benefits:
Range: $80,000 – 100,000
Company-paid health insurance, including health and vision. Dental insurance also provided with minimal employee contribution
