Procurement Buyer II
As a Procurement Buyer II here at Honeywell, you will play an essential role in managing procurement activities that support our organization's operational and strategic goals. You will be responsible for executing purchasing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support timely and quality supply chain operations.
You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and you’ll work out of our [City, State] location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations, contributing to cost savings and supply chain reliability, which are critical to Honeywell’s competitive position and business success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute purchasing activities including supplier selection, order placement, and contract management in accordance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services.
• Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
• Support supplier performance evaluations and contribute to supplier relationship management.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Knowledge of buying strategies, supplier relations, and cost control
• Proficient in procurement software and tools (SAP)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
