As a Clinical Research Technician, you’ll play a vital role in helping bring new medicines to market while providing outstanding` care and support to the volunteers who take part in our clinical trials.

The Role
In this hands-on, people focused role, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for our volunteers throughout their clinical trial experience.
You do not need any previous clinical experience we provide a comprehensive training programme, delivered by our dedicated inhouse training team.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll be trained to:
Collect and accurately record high quality study data, following clear procedures
Carry out clinical procedures such as:
Blood pressure, pulse and temperature checks
ECGs / holter monitoring
Taking blood samples via venepuncture (fully trained)
Collect and process biological samples in line with study protocols
Complete quality checks on electronic and paper records
Build positive, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Always deliver a high standard of care and customer service to our volunteers
✅ Immediate Life Support (ILS) training provided
Shift pattern
This is a full-time role with 24/7 shift rotation. Flexibility is required to work the following:
Days, nights, and weekends
A mixture of early, late, and night shifts (rota based)
Learning opportunities:

Shift Lead and Ward Lead roles
IV cannulation
Clinical study setup and documentation
Dosing and accountability of study drugs
Deputy Clinical Lead and Clinical Lead positions
Many of our leaders started in this role — we actively support internal progression.
Skills and experience required:
We’re keen to hear from candidates who:
Have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Are confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills
Have experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, healthcare support, leisure, or similar people facing roles
Take pride in providing excellent service and care
Can follow procedures and work accurately in a regulated environment
Have good IT skills and attention to detail
Are enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn new skills
Are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends as required
