We are inviting applications from enthusiastic and experienced internal candidates for the role of Manager Distribution Planning. The selected individual will play a crucial role in optimizing fuel deliveries to Circle K stations. Will have to improve the lifting compliance, fleet efficiency, working around on Time and Geo ARB along with achieving and maintaining the service levels across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to reduce the delivery costs and maintain service levels (avoid dry runs at stations).
Improving the Time ARB opportunities and chasing the Geographical ARB throughout the year
Focusing on lifting compliance to achieve higher operational standards.
Optimization of fuel delivery across the network to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Coaching and training team on the planning quality standards and drive continuous improvement within the team
Managing and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.
Responsible for identifying talents within the team and their plans for succession.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience working as a Senior Planner or Distribution Planner in Circle K.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and ability to perform well under pressure.
Application Process:
As part of the application process, candidates are required to prepare and submit a presentation deck along with their resume and cover letter. The presentation should provide insights into the candidate’s understanding of the distribution planning manager role, their approach, and potential contributions to the team.
The presentation should be limited to 5–7 slides and should cover the following areas:
- Understanding of the key responsibilities and expectations of a distribution planning manager.
- Proposed 30-60-90 day plan for successfully transitioning into the role.
- Key changes, improvements, or initiatives the candidate would introduce as a distribution planning manager.
- Approach to supporting the team in achieving FY27 business and team goals.
- Proposal for an improvement project, including the objective, implementation approach, key steps, and estimated timeline.
