Elementary Math Support Specialist

A Math Support Specialist works as part of a team to ensure our most struggling elementary math students receive targeted support. Math Support Specialists will administer assessments and use the assessment data to plan intervention instruction in mathematics.  The specialist also has responsibilities in supervising students when under his/her direct instruction.  The team will also meet as a PLC.

Please note that this position will not be assigned to a specific location. It is considered a district assignment, and placement is flexible to be responsive to student needs. 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience
• MO teaching certificate for Elementary
  • Missouri Math Specialist strongly recommended
