TMG Global is a trusted leader in technology integration and complex program management, delivering tailored IT solutions that help organizations scale, adapt, and thrive. Founded on a commitment to excellence, innovation, and integrity, TMG has grown from a regional provider into a globally recognized partner. At TMG, we believe in building strong relationships, delivering measurable outcomes, and empowering our team to grow alongside our clients.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A Windows 10/11 Onsite Support Specialist

TMG Global is seeking a skilled and professional Senior Windows 10/11 Onsite Support Specialist for a contract engagement supporting a healthcare IT project in Charlotte, NC. In this hands-on role, you will serve as the on-site technical resource bridging end users and remote engineering teams, providing white-glove technical support across a healthcare facility - including in active patient-care areas. Your expertise in Windows 10/11 troubleshooting, endpoint diagnostics, and browser-based application support will be essential to keeping clinical operations running smoothly.

You will diagnose and resolve workstation issues, gather diagnostic data, document ticket trends, and translate vague user reports into clear, actionable technical findings. At TMG Global, we believe that great technology support is the backbone of great patient care - and in this engagement, you will make that difference every day.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A Windows 10/11 Onsite Support Specialist

To excel as a Senior Windows 10/11 Onsite Support Specialist contracting with TMG Global, candidates must bring a strong foundation in enterprise desktop support and a white-glove, client-facing service mindset. Proficiency in Windows 10/11 troubleshooting, Group Policy, Windows Firewall, and endpoint configuration is essential to diagnosing and resolving complex issues that arise in a healthcare environment.

Experience troubleshooting browser-based applications in Chrome and Edge will be critical, as will the ability to perform replication testing to isolate root-cause patterns and document findings with clarity and consistency. Strong skills in technical documentation and ticketing systems will ensure accurate reporting and effective communication with remote engineering teams and project leadership.

Candidates must be comfortable working independently on-site, moving through patient-care areas with professionalism and discretion, and coordinating across technical and non-technical teams. A proactive mindset and the ability to translate unclear user reports into structured troubleshooting paths will set you apart in this engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 in enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of Group Policy, Windows Firewall, endpoint configuration, and OS diagnostics
  • Experience troubleshooting browser-based applications, including Chrome and Edge
  • Ability to interpret unclear issue descriptions and build structured troubleshooting paths
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with consistent and thorough documentation habits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactions
  • Ability to work independently on-site while coordinating with remote teams
  • Comfortable working in patient-care areas with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments preferred
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft endpoint or desktop certifications are preferred
This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement based in Charlotte, NC. The current project scope runs for 3 months, starting June 29.

The standard project schedule is Monday through Friday onsite, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, the nature of healthcare IT deployments may require contractors to work beyond these hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines and minimize disruption to clinical operations.

Contractors will receive a company-issued laptop for use during the project and will be paid bi-weekly.

Initial paid travel of 1 to 2 weeks to the main office (Tampa, FL) for project onboarding is required and will be compensated per the agreed contract terms.

As part of our employment process, TMG Global conducts background checks on all final candidates. These checks are performed by TMG Global, a trusted third-party background screening provider.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and agree that, if selected as a final candidate, you will be required to undergo a background check. This may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant information, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
