About the Opportunity:
The QA Technician prepares documentation and conducts measurements to ensure that customer requirements and specifications are met before pertinent documents are released to customers. The QA Technician uses all available software applications to prepare and to submit First Article Inspection Reports internally and externally.
What You'll Do:
- Develops and implements AS9102 process improvements to achieve efficiency and quality
- Analyze customer blueprints and correlate requirements to physical product specifications.
- Assist in identifying and resolving non-conformances through data collection.
- Generate AS9102 documentation; performs related measurement/testing.
- Generate Routing and Drilling Dimension First Articles.
- Coordinate with multiple departments and use in-house tracking system to monitor workflow resulting from customer issues or changes.
- Inspect paperwork and dimensions to ensure that all requirements and specifications are met before releasing paperwork to customers.
What You'll Bring:
- IPC CIS/CIT training in J-STD-001, IPC-A-600/610, IPC-6012
- Working knowledge of hardware components
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Working knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) reports. (AS9102)
- Ability to use measurement and inspection tools such as CMM, Microscopes and handheld measurement tools.
- Proficient with Office 365 and web portals
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- High ethical and confidentiality standards
- High technical capacity
- Ability to work overtime when needed
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable industry experience (Preferred)
- 1 - 2 years of Quality Inspection experience
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Overtime and Saturdays as needed
