Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills : Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL)

As an Application Support Engineer, your day involves acting as a software detective, diligently investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. You will engage in dynamic problem-solving activities, ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of critical applications. Your role requires continuous monitoring, analysis, and collaboration with different teams to maintain system integrity and support business continuity effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
- Continuously monitor system performance and proactively address potential risks to minimize downtime.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Strong experience in data integration and ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Ability to analyze and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and debugging data workflows and system interfaces.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices in data management.
- Experience working with relational databases and managing data pipelines efficiently.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
