
GC Chemist
Job Description
We are seeking a Chemist experienced with HPLC and GC. During this opportunity, you will play a critical role in the testing, evaluation, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience with HPLC and GC testing/techniques and Empower software
- Ability to troubleshoot instrument / equipment issues
- Perform method verifications / validations on new methods
- Perform calibration of instrument / equipment
- Maintain meticulous, accurate and precise records of specifications, test methods, testing data, results, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Evaluate test results for accuracy
- Review / Release raw data, documentation and results for Certificate of Analysis
- Prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory purposes.
- Knowledge of current GMP, FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, ISO 17025 and other regulatory requirements as applicable.
- Working knowledge of computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and precise testing and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly laboratory environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
- Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Chemistry or other science related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 year industry experience with HPLC and GC
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to North Brunswick, NJ are encouraged to apply.
Pay range is $60,000 - $80,000 depending on the related experience.
