Yard Laborer

Garden City Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA!

The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. 

The starting wage for this position is $36.37/hour. After 120 days of probation, the pay rate is $45.46/hour.

Responsibilities Include:

· Yard and facility maintenance including debris and oil spot clean up

· Manual labor including landscaping and fence line maintenance

· Pressure washing and storage management of carts

· Picking up and sweeping wind blown trash

· Various utility tasks as needed

Requirements:

· At least 1 year of work experience. Preferably in a laborer type role

· The ability to stand outside throughout a 8 hr shift

· The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

· Ability and will to work in all weather conditions

· Experience running equipment is a plus (floor sweeper, scrubber, manlifts)
