
Medicare Account Representative, Patient Financial Services, Full Time, Day
Job Description
To review the accuracy of information/data/reports (e.g., accounts receivable trial balance reports, allowances posted, etc.) for billing and follow-up on all Medicare insurance claims and ensures prompt and accurate reimbursement.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous electronic billing experience preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to deal with the general public in a fast paced environment and to operate general office equipment. Proficient in software applications including GroupWise, Microsoft Word, Excel. Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment. Ability to effectively communicate (oral and in writing) and interact with customers to meet their needs. Ability to set priorities, and respond quickly to customer's needs. Medicare experience a plus.
