We are presently accepting applications for the following position.
AFTER CARE AIDE

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 16 years or older (if 18 years or older, MUST be fingerprinted by the Department of Education for the Fair Lawn Board of Education prior to the start date)
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with children and staff
• Ability to perform duties following all childcare requirements and Board of Education policies
• Experience working with children, preferred
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively
• Demonstrate appropriate telephone etiquette
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with children, staff, administration, and parents including navigating challenging situations
• Must be able to perform physical work which requires frequent bending and lifting

Dates: Monday - Friday
Times: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Rate: $16.50/per hour
This is a part time position which does not include benefits.
