Job Description

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Collections and Cashiering exercises primary responsibility of processing refunds and assisting cashiers with payments, allowances and other duties. All activities are consistent with the requirements of the government, accrediting agencies, and with the overall goals of the HMNH.

Licensure and Certification:

  • N/A

Education:

  • Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience:

  • One to two (1-2) years’ experience in a hospital and/or medical environment required
  • Computer experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Computers
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, to be a self-starter, and demonstrate a pleasant voice and good public relations while performing duties.
  • HMO/PPO knowledge required.
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
