We are looking for an Electronic Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at our Calderara di Reno (BO) site, with responsibility for the electronic production lines across multiple locations.
The role is primarily based on Calderara di Reno; however, the successful candidate will be responsible for the electronic areas located in:
- Castel Maggiore (BO)
- Calderara di Reno (BO)
- Rovereto (TN)
- Krefeld (Germany)
The position involves periodic travel between these sites to support, monitor, and manage supplier quality activities, working closely with local operations and manufacturing teams.
MISSION
Guarantee a Global Supplier Base aligned to business and product requirements, with a strong focus on electronic components, assuring a high level of quality.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Suppliers Management:
- Define the model for Suppliers Homologation and Vendors List management
- Continuous monitoring of Vendors List populating it with new suppliers and excluding suppliers in blacklist
- Continuous checking of supplier quality performance as: the number of quality events (such as product defects, delivery failures), cost of poor quality per supplier, etc.
- Vendor Rating and prioritizes suppliers for development, in collaboration with Local SQA.
Suppliers’ homologation:
- Perform new suppliers’ homologation to assess processes and capabilities. Audits are done on-site at supplier manufacturing locations in collaboration with Strategic Scouting & Supplier Development and BU Purchasing buyers
- Perform periodical audits on existing suppliers to verify their alignment to quality guidelines and practices
- Evaluate suppliers and assign the approval status populating the Vendors Lists (approved-green-, approved with improvement planning-yellow, approved just if supplier proposes a good improvement plan-orange-; not approved-red-).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree and/or High School Diploma (technical background preferred)
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of electronic components
- Willingness to travel
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
The annual compensation rate for this position is € 50,000 - € 60,000, with additional benefits.
This compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility.
