About the Role:
CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineer II to join our TechOps CICD team focused on enterprise services. In this role, you will build and maintain the tooling that powers our automated workflows for deploying, managing, and operating CrowdStrike's Production Services.
You will take an active part in designing and implementing solutions that directly support production deployments at scale. This is a hands-on position with exposure to modern infrastructure technologies, working alongside experienced engineers in one of the cybersecurity industry's most demanding environments. Our team emphasizes mentorship, continuous learning, and a high standard of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Proven service administration experience with:
Jenkins with JCASC
Artifact repository services such as: JFrog Artifactory or Nexus
Source control services like Atlassian Bitbucket or Gitlab
Strong experience with service deployments with:
Kubernetes (k8s), ArgoCD, Rancher, and FluxCD
IaaS Provisioning tools such as Ansible and Chef
Experience with developing tools using languages such as Python, Go
Administration experience with Linux in Hybrid Environments
Knowledge of proper monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery of critical services
A passion for creating high quality documentation
Desired Skills and Experience:
5+ years of administration experience working in a large-scale hybrid production environment
Experience using and developing with AI to increase efficiency of existing processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
Must exhibit attention to detail and have the ability to make good, timely decisions and prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks
Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment
Security-mindset, general understanding of cybersecurity principles
Nice to Have:
Familiarity working with on-prem virtualization
Familiarity with networking patterns (Load balancers, DNS, VIPS, Routing, Firewall rules)
Database operations knowledge (backup/restore, performance tuning)
