Role Overview:

The role will focus on managing state licensing/renewals/compliance for the team, billing/invoicing, project management; database maintenance, technology improvements, and more. This is a hybrid based position. This role will be filled at the Associate or Senior Associate level within Ankura’s structure.


 Responsibilities:

  • Monitor state licensing and renewal requirements for the team.

  • Facilitate the invoice process, including preparing and reviewing drafts for Project Manager's approval and issuance of invoices.

  • Set up and/or ensure the accuracy of input and maintain projects in Workday Financials.

  • Monitor projects (e.g., work in progress, accounts receivables, etc.).

  • Work with designated Project Manager to identify revenue to be recognized monthly.

  • Facilitate the invoice process, including preparing and reviewing Project Manager's approval and issue invoices.

  • Maintain databases of information as required.

  • Maintain organization of project workfiles and file structures on SharePoint.

  • Assist with billable client work as needed in researching, organizing projects and pulling together data and information received.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of business experience

  • Finance or accounting background preferred with a background in the real estate industry a must

  • Understanding of general accounting principles as they apply to Billings and A/R

  • Ability to meet deadlines and meet specific service level metrics

  • Organizational and attention to detail skills

  • Interpersonal communication skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others

  • Ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion

  • To perform this position successfully, required to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong skills in Excel

  • Workday Financials experience is a plus
