RT, St. Peter’s Hospital Pulmonary Function Lab
Full Time: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-4:00pm

What you will do:
Perform diagnostic respiratory tests to diagnose lung disease and disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Performs diagnostic pulmonary function studies, cardiopulmonary stress tests, FeNO tests, hydrogen breath tests, methacholine challenge testing, arterial blood gasses, and 6MWT.
- Performs point of care testing with iSTAT and Hemocue devices.
- Assist with the pretesting of pulmonary rehabilitation patients.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment for quality and safety.
- Commit to adherence of established ATS technical and operating standards for pulmonary function testing.
What you will need:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the State of New York
- Current RRT credentials through the National Board of Respiratory Care
- 1 year experience in a PFT lab with additional RRT-CPFT or RRT-RPFT credentialing is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
- BLS and ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
- Flexibility and willingness to float between SPHP locations as needed.
Pay Range: $36.33 - $47.65
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
