
Inventory Planning Analyst

In a stimulating and constantly evolving environment, the Inventory Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring the distribution of merchandise to our stores in accordance with planning requirements and sales trends. The analyst supports the buying team, the distribution centre, and store managers. They also communicate with the various stakeholders involved to ensure the proper functioning of the replenishment system and the optimization of merchandise shipments.
Key responsibilities
· Optimize merchandise allocation to maximize sales and profitability.
· Configure and execute inventory rebalancing across stores.
· Manage parameters and rules within the replenishment system, ensuring optimal inventory distribution between the distribution centre and stores.
· Analyze stock shortages and excess inventory in stores and implement the necessary corrective actions.
· Resolve issues and develop solutions to improve inventory management and stock movement.
· Prepare performance reports.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations and Logistics Management, or any other education related to retail operations.
· Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
· Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, in order to communicate daily with store teams across the country.
· Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with demonstrated initiative.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Experience working in a retail environment (an asset).
· Experience in inventory management or supply chain replenishment (an asset).
· Knowledge of systems or applications related to supply chain optimization (an asset).
