What this role is all about

The Senior Legal Associate provides in-house legal support across assigned regions/markets, conducts research, ensuring labor law compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and advising HR and management on employee relations matters.

 

What you'll do:

  • Manage end-to-end employment law matters across assigned countries/region, including drafting and reviewing employment contracts, agreements, and complex legal documentation.
  • Advise management and HR on employment-related legal matters, including disciplinary procedures, employee relations, and organizational changes.
  • Support and monitor the fulfillment of work unit strategy and initiatives, suggesting necessary steps for timely implementation.
  • Create new legal policies and procedures, suggest improvements, and execute them, including employment-related policies and internal regulatory frameworks.
  • For regional SLA roles: Manage end-to-end legal matters for particular countries within the region as directed by the Line Manager.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations, assisting in advising the organization on compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Can have responsibility over matters falling outside the assigned area, such as projects, collaboration in mission teams and similar.

What makes you a strong fit:

  • A completed bachelor degree in law.
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience with labor law.
  • Familiarity with commercial and corporate law is highly valued.
  • Al least 2 years of experience with labor law.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal, is essential.
  • Ability to work in foreign language in addition to English is an advantage: French, Spanish, Italian,... etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools to effectively manage tasks and legal documentation.
