The Opportunity – Build the Future with Us

Join our Environment team as an Acoustic, Noise and Vibration Specialist and play a key role in delivering impactful environmental solutions. Based in Aurora, this role offers a dynamic blend of field and office work supporting project delivery, technical excellence, and client growth within our Air, Noise, and Vibration practice.

Your Impact

  • Lead and contribute to noise and vibration studies, including field investigations, data analysis, and reporting
  • Deliver high-quality technical documentation and findings that support regulatory and project requirements
  • Oversee or participate in acoustical monitoring and modelling programs across diverse projects
  • Provide design oversight and support design-build teams to ensure compliance and performance
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting both project delivery and new business development
  • Collaborate across disciplines, particularly with Buildings teams, on integrated, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Contribute to proposal development and project pursuits, helping expand WSP’s environmental portfolio
  • Adapt to evolving project needs while working across a variety of technical and field-based assignments

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of consulting experience, including exposure to acoustical engineering
  • Experience in acoustical monitoring, field investigations, and/or modelling
  • Strong understanding of design-build projects, proposal development, and client engagement
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines
  • High attention to detail in technical documentation and reporting
  • Eligibility for membership with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally (GTA) and occasionally to remote sites

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77.400 - 102.000
MB & ON: $76,000 - 97,200 
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $70,000 - 93,000
