Food Service Worker

Preferred Qualifications:

       1.     Previous experience preferred in the many duties of a food service operation.

       2.     A good work record.

       3.     Ability to perform the required duties.

Reports to:          Food Service Director and Supervisor, District Administrators

Position Goal:

         To carry out assigned tasks in the proper operation of the district food service program.

Performance Responsibilities:

       1.     Assist where assigned in the proper preparation of food on a daily basis.

       2.     Assist with setting up service areas and with the portioning and serving of food items.

       3.     Assist where assigned in the daily cleaning of the food service areas and/or food utensils.

       4.     Assist as necessary in establishing the daily count of lunches served.

       5.     Comply with all safety and health standards as set forth by state and federal regulations.

       6.     Assist with the care, cleaning and regular maintenance of food service equipment.

       7.     Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the food service supervisor and/or the building principal.

       8.     Regular attendance is an essential duty for this position.

       9.     Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Terms of Employment:Salary and work year to be determined annually by the School Board.

 Evaluation:         Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the food service supervisor and/or other supervisors.
