Garden Grove Hyundai is seeking an experienced and motivated Used Car Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for market trends, vehicle valuation, and inventory strategy. If you're passionate about finding the right vehicles, negotiating great deals, and building a winning inventory mix, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $5,859/month + Bonuses
Schedule: Full-time (Mon - Fri)

What You'll Do

• Responsible for all faces of acquiring a used-car inventory through, direct contacts, generated leads, off site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers or any other available avenues

• Appraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and insures timely processing of all purchases

• Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner.

• Requires working in a fast-paced team environment, being effective as a self-starter and working individually as needs dictate

• Generate leads and create appointments by researching the available used car market

• Understand market tendencies and the changes to the trends in all geographic areas.

• Effectively utilize lead management tools.

• Compile all necessary reports, forms and other documentation on a timely basis

• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Active listening skills with the ability to understand and respond effectively

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Previous sales experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of the automotive market is a plus

• Basic computer proficiency

The estimated monthly earning for this position is $5,859, plus bonuses (I.e. units purchased).

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PT).
