
Senior Research Analyst, Consulting
Job Description
This role will be based at Menara Skymind.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Analyst, Consulting to independently manage and execute complex custom research projects. This role focuses on delivering strategic insights, driving innovation in research processes, and ensuring alignment of custom research deliverables with client and organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the successful, on-time delivery of custom research projects, ensuring the availability of high-quality, accurate, and validated data to support market analysis and research deliverables.
- Design and implement advanced workflows for data acquisition, cleansing, and processing, leveraging tools and methodologies to ensure robust and reliable datasets.
- Conduct primary research interviews with key industry contacts, synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
- Perform in-depth secondary research using credible sources such as trade journals, public reports, financial releases, and industry publications to gather comprehensive data for market intelligence.
- Build, validate, and maintain large-scale datasets and market analysis, ensuring alignment with product objectives, consistency with related markets, and thorough documentation of methodologies and assumptions.
- Drive innovation in research methodologies, tools, and processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness in research execution and delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and supporting their professional development to enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align research outputs with strategic objectives and ensure the delivery of high-value insights.
- 5+ years of experience in research, data analysis, or related roles, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Advanced proficiency in research methodologies, data acquisition, and operational workflows.
- Expertise in data tools such as Python, SQL, ETL processes, and Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong analytical skills to manage and interpret large datasets, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to present findings and guide junior team members.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Commitment to innovation and staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
