
Customer Service Representative, Track & Trace
Job Description
FLS Transportation Services is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative, Track & Trace, to join our growing team. This is a one (1) year contract.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and take pride in providing service solutions to Customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting all service requirements of assigned FLS Customers to exceed expectations;
- Identifying the service requirements and information required for each Customer shipment;
- Appointment setting;
- Track drivers from point of origin to destination to ensure that they are on schedule for pick-up and delivery appointments;
- Assist carriers with any issues or delays encountered throughout the shipment life cycle (advising appropriate account manager and when necessary the customer);
- Enter all relevant shipment data and information into FLS’s TMS;
- Verify that rates, fuel surcharges, and any applicable accessorial charges charged to the Customer are correctly entered in TMS;
- Problem-solve Customer specific issues from the point of order placement through to completion;
- Update Customers with shipment status updates as required;
- Pro-actively communicate any service issues or delays to Customers;
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism when dealing with any FLS Customers;
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in the Logistics Industry
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing customer service solutions to clients across North America
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High energy personality that embodies collaboration, confidence, dedication, urgency, and personal accountability
- Team Oriented
