40Summary:
The Assistant Vice President for Inpatient Clinical Excellence and Quality, (“AVP”), a key member of the Quality leadership team has shared accountability for the success of the organization, is charged with advancing clinical excellence, physician engagement, and clinical risk mitigation across the organization that improve clinical outcomes, reduce variation, and promote evidence-based care in the inpatient setting.
The AVP is subject matter expert, thought leader and strategic partner who collaborates with the System, hospital, and physician and administrative leadership to develop and execute enterprise strategies that enhance quality of care, reduce clinical risk, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The AVP has wide authority and relies on experience and judgement to accomplish goals.
Experience
5+ years of leadership experience in quality/patient safety or related initiatives
10+ years of pediatric clinical experience
Education
Medical Doctor (MD) or DO from an accredited institution is required.
Licensure and Certification
Active Texas Medical License
