  The Team: The Private Markets Data Operations team is a collaborative and globally integrated group dedicated to establishing a strong career foundation in Private Markets data and analytics. Responsibilities and Impact:

• Process, analyze, extract, standardize, and validate financial documents received from General/Limited Partners, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Perform rigorous data quality checks, resolving exceptions to uphold defined data standards and support market-leading data integrity.

• Access and manage GP portals and repositories, accurately categorizing and tagging fund-related documents with appropriate metadata.
• Conduct routine reporting and basic trend analysis to provide internal analytics and operational insights that inform decision-making.
• Support and actively participate in process improvement, Lean initiatives, and automation efforts, contributing to a culture of innovation and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, proactively asking for help and guidance as appropriate to complete work and support the achievement of shared team goals with a strong focus on quality and timeliness.
• All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 0-1 years of experience in Fund Administration, Private Equity Operations, or Financial Data Processing.
Postgraduate degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field (e.g., MBA (Finance), PGDM, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and proven problem-solving ability, coupled with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Certification and experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of SQL/Python. A willingness to work global shifts and extended hours during peak reporting periods.
• We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of Private Equity / Real Estate / Alternative Investment operations, including fund accounting and investor reporting concepts.
Enthusiasm for building new and strengthening established professional relationships, actively seeking ways to collaborate with others to contribute outside of direct day-to-day tasks.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and continuously improve, demonstrating adaptability to shifting team objectives and clarifying priorities where unclear.
Proven commitment to work and team goals, actively seeking feedback to build knowledge and understand how personal efforts align with broader team objectives.
