Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking an Elite Banker to manage and grow relationships with high-value household clients. This role focuses on outbound sales and relationship management within the branch banking division.
The Elite Banker-Household-Outbound role is a critical position within our Branch Banking-Relationship Management department. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and their families, offering tailored financial solutions and exceptional service. This role requires a proactive and sales-oriented approach, with a focus on outbound client engagement and business development.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of high-value household clients, understanding their financial needs and goals.
- Proactively reach out to potential clients through various outbound sales channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and present customized financial solutions, investment strategies, and banking products to meet client requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on market trends, investment performance, and new product offerings.
- Collaborate with other relationship managers and specialists to deliver a holistic banking experience to clients.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analysis and provide advice on wealth management, investment planning, and estate planning.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to offer relevant and compliant financial solutions.
- Attend networking events, seminars, and client appreciation functions to enhance client relationships and expand the network.
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies while managing client accounts.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the branch and the bank.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in relationship management or private banking, preferably with a focus on household clients.
- Strong sales and business development skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with high-net-worth individuals.
- A deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of clients effectively.
- Proficiency in using banking software and CRM systems for client relationship management.
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide tailored investment advice.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
