Purpose of Job

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic procurement professional to lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. The role requires strong expertise in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor management, and supply chain optimization, with a focus on cost efficiency and timely availability of materials.

Roles and Responsibilites

Procurement & Supply Planning
- Manage procurement of finished products (P2P and loan license)..
- Ensure timely replenishment of materials at optimal cost, maintaining continuity of supply.
- Determine appropriate order quantities and delivery schedules based on demand planning.
Vendor Management & Development
- - Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors; develop alternate vendor sources.
  - Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality, and reliability.
  - Drive contract negotiations to achieve favorable commercial terms.
Purchase Operations
- Handle Purchase Order (PO) creation, release, and tracking.
- Ensure effective follow-up with vendors for timely delivery and adherence to agreed timelines.
- Work closely with vendors to address supply disruptions and performance issues.

New vendor development and sourcing strategies
Contract negotiation and cost optimization
Supply chain risk assessment and mitigation
Hands-on experience with SAP and vendor management systems.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualification Required

Experience: 10–15 years
Education: Pharma Graduate (MBA preferred)
