Analyst Collections - OTC Collections&Dispute

At Adient, we are proud to offer hybrid working to our employees, which involves being able to work remotely for up to 3 days per week based on the agreement within specific department.

What will your responsibilities be?
 

  • Main contact person for assigned customer portfolio

  • Prepare outstanding, unpaid items and address them to customer for review

  • Reconcile received comments 

  • Follow up on invoices due in current month as well as past due items

  • Request payment confirmation for accepted open items

  • Review identified issues, ensure proper resolution with customer and / or internal / business representatives

  • Identify disputed and unallocated items (debits/credits), drive their resolution

  • Conduct financial analysis (e.g.: open receivables, past due receivables, price / quantity discrepancy)

  • Schedule regular reviews of open receivables, past due items with business representatives / customer

  • Support with clearing / write off of uncollectable items

  • Support month-end-close reporting activities, prepare / comment overview of past due receivables, cash forecast, top unallocated items


Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
 

  • Degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on finance / accounting

  • Min 1 year experience in accounting / finance department

  • Experience with MS-Office, good knowledge of Excel

  • Experience with SAP as an advantage

  • English - B2, other language as an advantage

  • Communicative, open-minded, analytical and logical thinking with attention to details, results-oriented

  • Team player
